Information we collect
Booking details — name, email address, phone number, stay dates, guest count and any message you send with the request.
Payment information — payments are processed by our payment gateway. We receive and store only the order and payment reference, amount, and status. We never see or store your card, UPI or banking credentials.
Government ID — where you choose to submit ID in advance, we store the ID type and number solely to meet the statutory guest-registration requirement. It is masked everywhere in the interface.
Host information — for partner hosts, KYC details and payout information needed to transfer earnings.
How we use it
To confirm and service your booking, to send booking, payment and refund notifications by email, WhatsApp or SMS, to share the minimum necessary details with the host of the property you have booked, to comply with legal guest-registration and tax obligations, and to answer support requests.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
The host of the property you booked, our payment gateway, our email and messaging providers, and our cloud hosting and database provider. Each receives only what is needed to perform its function. Disclosure may also be made where required by law or a valid order of a public authority.
Storage and security
Data is stored in a managed cloud database with access controls, and administrative areas of the site are restricted to authenticated staff accounts with role-based permissions. Traffic to the site is encrypted in transit.
Retention
Booking, payment and ID records are retained for as long as required for accounting, tax and statutory guest-registration purposes, and deleted or anonymised after that period. Enquiries that do not result in a booking are kept for up to 12 months.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending non-essential messages, by writing to sahyadriblisstays@gmail.com. Transactional messages about a live booking (confirmations, refunds) cannot be switched off while that booking is active.
Cookies
We use only the storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
